Testing my patience.

When you see me. You will know I am not the same person.

I’m better than what I use to be.

It’s true.

I’m not as cynical as I use to be. I have my hope in people.

But it’s balanced.

And I have a back bone.

I’m a monster when I need to be.

I’m an asshole when I want to be.

But I’m a friend when I should be.

I’m still a good guy.

I still do right.

It’s just my principals have either endured,

or they’ve evolved.

Life, it goes on when we don’t pay attention to the fine print.
